Kidso Privacy Policy

Kidso is a child-friendly mobile application designed to encourage creativity under parental supervision. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of children and their parents.

1. Parent-Managed Accounts

Kidso does not allow children to create independent accounts.
All accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians.

Parents have full control over child profiles and activities within the app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only limited information necessary to operate the app:

  • Parent email address (for account creation and login)

  • Firebase-generated User ID

  • Child nickname or profile name (created by parent)

  • Points and reward progress

  • Craft submission details (such as submission date and approval status)

We do not collect phone numbers, location data, or sensitive personal information.

3. Craft Submissions & Media

When a child submits a craft for approval:

  • A submission record (date and approval status) is stored securely in our database.

  • Kidso does not store photos or videos on Firebase or any server.

  • Media files remain on the user's local device.

  • If a parent chooses to send a craft image via email for review, it is sent directly through their own email application.

Kidso does not operate or maintain any media storage system.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

  • Authenticate users

  • Manage parent and child accounts

  • Track reward points and milestones

  • Review submission status

  • Maintain app functionality

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

We do not use personal data for behavioral marketing.

5. Advertisements

Kidso uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

  • Ads shown in the app are non-personalized.

  • Child-directed treatment is enabled in compliance with Google Play Families Policy.

  • No interest-based or behavioral advertising is used.

Google AdMob may collect limited device information according to its own privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We use secure technologies including:

  • Firebase Authentication

  • Cloud Firestore

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

Kidso does not store media files on its servers.

7. Account Deletion

Parents may request permanent deletion of their account and associated child data by contacting us at:

Upon verified request, all related account data will be permanently deleted within 7 working days.

8. Third-Party Services

Kidso uses trusted third-party services:

  • Google Firebase

  • Google AdMob

Kidso is designed for use by children under parental supervision.
We comply with Google Play Families Policy and apply child-directed advertising settings.
